The rotor is 4' diameter, laminated pine. I carved it, balanced it and applied few coats of liseed oil.
The generator is an Ametek 30 mounted on a frame made of square pipe.
The yawing system is pipe in pipe without furling (I might want to change my mind about furling).
The blades were built using Hugh Pigot's plans for the 4 feet diameter turbine.
I used 1x2 pine and after gluing the first blade with some white glue, I changed it to some brown glue. The first glue I used was too thick, it was drying too slow and it was hard to work with. The brown one was much much better. I can't recall the glue brands, but I will get it and post it.
You can see below, the blade in the middle was glued with a different glue.
Below are the rough carved blades.
Below are the finished blades after I applied linseed oil on them.

Below I raised the turbine with an Ametek 50 motor, just to test the blades(The rotor is too small for this motor, being more suitable for an Ametek 30).

The rotor was tested for few days and I couldn't see anything wrong with it. I took it down, but I will raise it again with an Ametek 30 motor and a square pipe frame.
